Q & A

Q: How do you start your day?
A: A cup of hot Americano—the warmth that energizes you to start each day.

Q: Where do you usually spend most of your time?

A: Internet: Searching for information and browsing interesting people and things.

Learning: It is a daily necessity—to understand the ever-growing information about the world, absorb it, and stay up to date. Art is not limited solely to my consciousness; how to connect with the world is my philosophy.

Q: Which restaurant do you visit most often?
A:Mingde Vegetarian RestaurantGradually, I want to eat more vegetarian food and put the concept of environmental protection into practice.

Q: What do you do for entertainment after work?
A: Zoning out! I enjoy zoning out alone in a particular space~~~ Because I absorb so much information every day and things are updated so quickly, I spend some time each day emptying my mind whenever I have the chance, settling down and sorting my emotions. It is similar to the concept of Zen meditation, but I prefer to empty my mind and reset. I really enjoy zoning out.

Q: What is the most recent book you read? Did you have any insights or reflections after finishing it?
A: Semiotics: Learn the symbols of labels, and then break free from them! Everything in the world has a language of symbols. When we are confined by a set of norms, how can we transform them through creativity? It starts with understanding them!

Q: What do you find most interesting or appealing about Taiwan?
A: Convenience stores. Taiwan’s convenience stores are like a kaleidoscope, and I believe everyone can relate to their convenience. When I lived in Milan, I often found myself missing Taiwan’s convenience stores.

Q: What do you look forward to most when staying at a hotel?

A: Design and comfort. Whether traveling for business or taking a break during a trip, a hotel is a home away from home where one can truly relax. Therefore, comfort is extremely important. Leaving one’s familiar surroundings and staying in an environment filled with diverse design styles feels like an adventure in the urban jungle, and is immensely enjoyable.

Q: What is your impression of the hotels under the Taipei Hotel Group?
A: Each hotel has its own distinctive character and is located in a highly convenient area. As hotels that place great importance on art and culture, they enable travelers from around the world to experience the local culture and warmth. They focus not only on the comfort of their services but also on conveying the spirit of Taiwan’s art and culture. In doing so, they transcend the conventional image of a hotel and embody the value of Taiwan’s land.
